hola!

I'm Kat, and I'm an intimate wedding and elopement photographer based in Saint Paul, Minnesota - but I'll happily travel anywhere as long as there's a good hike or a coffee shop nearby (I don't actually drink coffee, I just like the viiibes).

As someone who grew up hating rom-coms and avoiding all things lovey-dovey, no one was more surprised than me when I found myself photographing weddings and crying at every ceremony and father-of-the-bride speech. My cold heart melted, and now I can't imagine doing anything other spending the day with two folks who are madly in loooove.

What I love most about this gig is capturing the authentic, genuine, and behind-the-scenes moments throughout your day. You'll never see me awkwardly posing you - I am alllll about making sure you feel comfortable and like YOURSELF. You probably will see me being a third-wheel all day and sprinting somewhere at least once (there's a reason I always wear sneakers!).

fun fact.

I was born in Venezuela and my family immigrated to the United States when I was five years old! I actually started kindergarten without being able to speak any English at all. I still speak Spanish fluently, and my favorite thing to do on the weekend is make arepas or empanadas for brunch.
