hola!
I'm Kathy. I specialize in capturing candid, heartfelt moments for couples who want their wedding day to feel real, relaxed, and very them. I photograph elopements and weddings all across Minnesota and beyond — I'm there if there's a sick hiking trail or a cutie coffee shop nearby (I don’t drink coffee, I just love the vibes).
Growing up, I was a bit of a hater — I looooved to roll my eyes at anything too mushy. Imagine my surprise when I started crying behind the camera at every ceremony and father-of-the-bride speech. Somewhere along the way my cold heart softened, and now I can't imagine doing anything other spending the day with two folks who are madly in loooove.
As a wedding photographer, my style is all about documenting the real stuff — the quiet in-between moments, the loud laughter, the happy tears, and the way your partner looks at you when no one else is watching. You won’t catch me awkwardly posing you or interrupting the flow. My goal is to help you feel relaxed, confident, and 100% yourself. And yes, I’ll probably be your unofficial third wheel all day — sneakers on, camera ready, sprinting after the perfect light or a spontaneous moment.
If you’re planning an intimate wedding in the Twin Cities, a North Shore elopement, or an adventure session somewhere wild and beautiful, I’d be honored to capture your story exactly as it feels.

VZLA to MPLS
I was born in Venezuela and immigrated to the United States with my family when I was five, starting kindergarten without speaking a word of English. Unfortunately for everyone around me, this apparently did not stop me from yapping at anyone who would listen — even though they couldn't understand a word I was saying.
Cue the "Chatty Kathy" jokes 🤪
I am grateful to still speak Spanish fluently, and my favorite thing to do on the weekend is make arepas or empanadas for brunch.
